Friend on the other side of the mountain.
Hi Kratz Party Guest
I am playing a few of my songs at 7:00pm at June
29 Krantz Music Party. I hope you will consider
coming early to share them with me. I have
adapted popular songs with new lyrics to express
my own heart. These include:
BREAKAWAY (Kelly Clarkson orginal singer)
In my version I describe the passion of learning
to fly a power paraglider.
I HEAR THE THUNDER RUMBLING (Adapted from Folsom
Prison Blues, Johny Cash original singer).
The lyrics are sung 1st person in present tense
by a freeflight paraglider pilot soaring in
turbulant conditions. This pilot will use my
body to share his experience with you while he
is flying.
DON'T LET ME BE MISUNDERSTOOD (Eric Burton and
Animals, original performers)
This song cponsiders the tragedy of the national
communities that are called to arms with an
incomplete narrative and the rejection
experienced I felt by trying to expand the
narrative to avoid war. War is a tremendous
source of passion. I express my emotions of
trying to stop the tragedy with no success, then
ignoring the tragedy to find my own happiness.
I am a newby guitar player. I can promise my
performance will not be perfect. However, I can
also promise lots of heart in the tradition of
the Krantz Music Parties.
